 People's Initiative to Limit Property Tax in Wyoming by 50%

Wyoming has a $47 Billion dollar GDP and a $14 Billion dollar bud- get. Our Schools are fully funded at 1.9 Billion dollars. We are one of the wealthiest states and the Saudi Arabia of our nation. Sadly we are the 11th highest taxed state in the nation. Property taxes are out of control and forcing people from their homes. We have a petition to put a bill on the November 2024 ballot to cut residential property tax in half. Our legislature was unable to pass 20 bills to cut taxes but they put $1.4 billion into a $25 Billion dollar state savings account. This is a moral issue, not a fiscal issue.
